Ignacio Montes

Ignacio Montes was born on November 7th 1993 in Málaga. He started his career on the theatre thanks to Irene Viñas, in La Sala, a dancing and theatrical academy, carrying out classical and modern plays such as ‘Hamlet’ or ‘Bodas de sangre’. In 2012, he succeeded in the big stage with the play ‘Los que besan bien’, being part of one of the four couples in the cast.

His first job in TV came due to the TVE series ‘La dársena de poniente’. His way in the Spanish fiction wasn’t over yet, Ignacio made a place for himself in the visual panorama in series such as ‘Gominolas’ in Cuatro TV, playing the character of a young musical leader from the 80s, ‘Los Serrano’, ‘La pecera de Eva’, ‘BuenAgente’ or the recent ‘Acacias 38’, ‘Vive Cantando’ and 'El Secreto de Puente Viejo', the last one, where he played the character of Carlos, made him very known.

On the television stage, he got more and more cinematographic projects as the short films ‘El reencuentro de Alicia’, ‘El billete’ or ‘Desalmados’ and Latin-American movies such as ‘Solo quiero caminar’ or ‘Azul y no tan rosa’.
